My Story

Naomi, Here is the content for Albert’s Petfinder profile. Let me know if anything else is needed: ABOUT CHARACTERISTICS Friendly, Affectionate, Loves Attention and Companionship, Quirky, Funny COAT LENGTH Short HOUSE-TRAINED Don’t think he has ever been inside and we are working on learning how to use a litter box. HEALTH He has been neutered, received rabies shot, distemper shot, got wormed, checked for ear mites (treated if needed), checked for lice (treated if needed), combo tested (leukemia negative but FIV positive) and a Convenia antibiotic shot for his respiratory issue. He also received flea and tick meds. GOOD IN A HOME WITH Unknown how he would be with other cat(s), dog(s), and children. PREFERS A HOME WITHOUT Other cats, a dog or children ADOPTION FEE $70.00 MEET ALBERT Albert, a handsome tabby cat, was being fed as a stray by a lady in my neighborhood that passed away. Me and another neighbor have been feeding him since she passed away. I have been trying to get him for a while since I saw he had lost a lot of weight. He has not been around at times when there was a spay/neuter clinic and he was difficult to get in a crate even though he is friendly the one time he was around a few weeks ago. Saturday December 16, I finally scooped him up and got him in a crate and transferred him to a trap cage to send him to a spay/neuter clinic. I could pick him up alright, but he went a bit crazy seeing he was getting put in a crate. He also has a respiratory issue that he has been treated for. At the spay/neuter clinic he is got neutered, rabies shot, distemper shot, wormed, checked for ear mites (treated if needed), checked for lice (treated if needed), combo tested (leukemia negative but FIV positive) and a Convenia antibiotic shot for his respiratory issue. I gave him flea and tick meds on Wednesday December 20. They say he is around 7 years old and weighs only 7 lbs. He is eating very well so hopefully he will but on some needed weight. Albert wants his special person, to feel safe, and just wants lots of attention. He loves rubbing around your legs. He makes a unique very cute chirping noise when he eats. He wants a forever home and someone to enjoy life with! ALBERT IS IN BROWNSVILLE, PA. If you can help and you are a rescue/foster or a person looking to adopt him and live farther away, I can deliver him to you. NOTE: Non rescue adoption will require vet references, adoption contract, home visit, if you rent I need proof you are allowed to have a cat, and adoption fee. Please contact me if you are interested in helping and/or adopting Albert. Location address Brownsville, PA 15417 Email [email protected] Phone 724-622-4351
