My Story

My foster writes: In search of your perfect gentleman? Meet Axel, our golden bachelor. He's a grey tabby with a grumpy looking disposition, but don't be fooled, he's bright and affectionate. He's a very hard working cat, born and raised in Brooklyn, and you'll find him making biscuits day and night. On his days off, he enjoys cuddling and sleeping anywhere and everywhere-your lap, a chair, a rug, your dresser drawer! Axel is an affectionate and quiet cat with tons of love to give! He's very easy going and is good with getting picked up, brushed and his nails clipped. He loves getting cheek and chin scratches, and will headbutt you when he wants some more. He loves to sleep in your lap and to cuddle, but doesn't need constant attention so you don't have to worry about him when you leave the house. Since he's a little older, Axel's isn't big into playtime or jumping onto higher surfaces and would rather spend his time in as many cozy places as possible. He's also missing some teeth, but still has the most charming smile(or more of what Tyra called a "smize") and prefers to have wet food(the stinkier the better). He would make a great pet for anyone looking to adopt their first cat or someone looking for a lovely companion in general! Axel gets along with everyone, except for dogs, but to be fair, we all have our own nemeses. If you're looking for the quintessential(non-Bushwick) man, look no further!
