My Story

(Cue Sarah McLachlan's "Angel") Barb has spent most of her life being treated for an intense eye infection that ended with removal of one. Thankfully her one good eye is healed with zero issues! She was found, as part of a cat colony as kittens with severe eye infections. Luckily, they were small enough to avoid the feral life by being picked up by LTDR and treated with medical intervention and love. However, Barb is over her life as a foster and is ready to move onto her forever home. Please be patient with this sweet girl. She is used to being poked, prodded, medicated and medically harassed daily and will take a moment to adjust to a life without those unpleasantries. You will be paid back in full, with love when she is ready to open up to you. She would not do well in an active/loud house. She would not be best for small children. Barb would do best with minimal pets and consistency. Barb loves her kitty roommates. Her temperament around dogs is unknown. As with any new family member, a slow introduction is recommended. She has been around elementary and high school age children. Barb is spayed, tested (FELV/FIV negative), current vaccinations, and microchipped. Her estimated birthday is 5/6/2023. Her adoption fee is $150. Barb LOVES the company of her sister Margarita, they are not bonded per say, but if adopted together the fee for both is $200.
