Hello there, I’m Benji! I am a sweet, devastatingly handsome youngster who’s ready to find a loving forever home where I can play and snuggle my way into your heart!

I’m a young, playful kitty, so tossing toys or swirling strings so I can catch them in the air with my cute white mittens is a great way to start bonding! I’m a lot of fun to play with! I like all interactive games, and I also toss my kicker toys and mice to entertain myself. I love to jump up and sit on the window to watch the activity outside. When I am tired, I’ll curl up in a cute furry ball and sleep, and I cozy up on my foster’s bed at night.

I will come right up to you when I’m ready to make friends! I like to sniff and rub against people and love being pet and having my head scratched. I was a little anxious at first so I’ve been taking a calming medication that goes into my food, and I’ve responded well to a soothing pheromone dispenser. I may not need these aids forever, but I might have had a challenging start to my young life and I needed a little extra help to understand that going forward, I’ll be truly loved by humans. I’m really such a happy boy! I am also fully litter box trained and I use scratch pads appropriately.

I made friends with my foster kitty sibling right away! I have not met a new doggie friend yet but with the right introduction, I may enjoy a canine friend too! I’m not scared or aggressive, but I may do best around calm, gentle animals and people. Older kids who can read kitty language and don’t make sudden, startling noises or movements would be fun playmates for me!

I am very young and have so much to explore and learn. My whole, happy life full of possibilities is ahead of me. I can’t wait to blossom into such an amazing cat alongside my very own humans!
