My Story

PLEASE READ IN FULL! Bow wants to know if you're in need of a forever valentine! He would be happy to oblige! This handsome guy is only 10 months old and is hopeful to finally have a family. He was born a barn cat that wasn't wanted and has never had a family of his own. Although he was born a barn cat, he is quite a social butterfly! Unfortunately, Bow has tested positive for FeLV on an ELISA test. BUT WAIT, before you let that discourage you from adopting, check out this fact sheet that includes new information regarding FeLV and how many cats can still live healthy and happy lives after a positive ELISA test. https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-leukemia-virus-felv/?print_this ***Bow will not be able to be adopted into a home with cats that are not already FeLV positive. He was surrendered with his friend Valentine, who has also tested positive on an ELISA test if you are hoping for a multi-cat home! We would love to see them find a forever home together! If you are interested in Bow, please fill out a cat adopter survey on our website! https://www.yateshumane.org/cat-adopter-survey Adoption comes with: *Spayed/Neutered *Up to date on Vaccinations * Microchipped *Tested for FIV/FELV *Flea Treated *Dewormed Call us at (315)536-6094 or email [email protected] for more information
