Buddy’s Short Story: 4 yr old boy, fixed and very sweet (pics). Very laid-back, level-headed and good with other cats and possibly kids and dogs that like cats and are patient. He will be very sweet with you after he gets used to his new home and person, which may take a month or so. The quieter your home, the faster the process will be. (Teary eye is being treated with ointment and is clearing up.) Video still processing. Buddy’s Full Story: I am an MTSU professor. For the last 3 years, I have been feeding him and his older sister every day on MTSU campus. Recently his sister fell ill and had to be put to sleep. Buddy had acted very distraught and confused on his own at the feeding location, so I took a chance and brought him into a spare room at my house. (I have three female cats who would not tolerate a new cat so he has to be separated till he finds his permanent home). He is sweet as can be and a wonderful, laid-back cat. He is happy being indoor and very grateful, but he goes inside his cubby when a stranger comes into a room. He knows and trusts me, as he will trust anyone who feeds him regularly. He falls to the floor and asks for his tummy rub, and looks lovingly in my eyes (see pic). If you are the special person to give him the time to absorb all the changes he has been through, you will get what you see in the pictures—a grateful, level-headed boy, a quintessential male cat. I want to be there for you to advise during the first weeks, and possibly visit to speed up the process, and for that reason would prefer a local (Murfreesboro) person. I guarantee to take him back and refund your fee if he is not everything you wanted. Everyone needs to be happy long term for an adoption to be a success.
