My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet handsome Benny! He and his brother Kenny were living a hard dangerous life outside. They would come to a volunteers home to be able to eat and have fresh water . They made friends with the boys enough so that they could pet them and have cat conversations with them . Finally on the coldest of nights this winter the volunteers could not stand seeing them outside when the cold and winds were likely to be the death of them . They would take turns sleeping on our porch bench piled with things to keep them warm . On the coldest of the nights they were begging to come in so they picked them up and put them in a spare room . Honestly they are big beautiful boys who are now looking for permanent homes , together or separate . Benny talked to them and bumps noses with his saviors and Kenny looks forward to being petted and loved on . In the right homes they will be great. They both are litter box trained , neutered and all vetted ready to be loved on and never to spend another night outside full of danger . Benny is a very talkative manly big muscled cat with tons of personality. Now that he has been in a our home longer we have discovered what a fantastic cat he is . He has quickly learned the art of playing with toys again and nothing makes him happier than lying on the floor with toys all around him . He loves the other cats in the house and has fit in like a perfect gentleman . Even better than toys is the supreme love he has of lying in our laps fitting his big self in where ever he can and talking to us . Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
