If you’re seeing the kitty on petfinder that means that they are still available. We do keep very up to date with our Petfinder account. Nothing is set in stone until they go out of our doors.
If you are interested in adopting and would like to fill out an application they can be found on our website at www.ASBrescue.org. please read throughly and note that if the cat you are seeking is a breed cat i.e. Bengal, Siamese, Mainecoon or anything other than a domestic kitty. Or if the kitty you are seeking is a kitten please note that there is a $25 application processing fee. There is a paypal donation link on our website. We also take venmo. please note in your payment the name of the cat the application is for. This fee is non refundable and helps us weed out serious adopters. Should your application be approved and the adoption goes through that processing fee will be applied to the total adoption fee. Typical adoption fees are $350 per cat/kitten unless otherwise specified. Please note we complete all required vetting before they go home. So all kittens and cats are spay/neutered. Given Shots for Distemper and Rabies(if old enough) Given a test for Feline aids and Feline Leukemia, stool sample if necessary, Revolution treatment for worms, fleas, and ticks and given a Microchip to help keep them safe.
Meet and greets
or adoption appointments are only scheduled once an application is processed and initially approved. We are a network of foster homes so to keep the foot traffic low in our volunteers private homes we prefer the applications to be completed first.

If you are looking to adopt and you have children please be prepared that all of the children must be at the meet and greet. We do not do gift or surprise adoptions!

We also have a lot of interest in all of the cats we have available so we would be picking the family we feel best suited for each of the cats.
