My Story

*To meet or adopt Cinnamon & Neika, please submit a Q&A for them on our website: https://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt. We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites. *Age: Cinnamon is approximately 1 year old, and Neika is approximately 3.5 years old as of 9/15/23 *Temperament: Cinnamon is active, confident, playful, social, and sassy. Neika is gentle, easygoing, and sweet. Both girls are friendly, chatty, like affection, attention, and pats, but prefer not to be picked up. *Special needs: Cinnamon & Neika are FIV+, therefore their adoption fee is reduced to $150 for the pair! (Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives! Read more about FIV below) Gal pal alert! This adorable pair lived on Park Place for several months after their humans abandoned them. Cinnamon is a petite, vivacious, and pretty gal who loves a lot of things, such as: being patted, bird TV, food with gravy, scratchers, jumping, perching, hunting, playing with a wand toy, chewing plants (so best to have them out of reach!) and chatting! She also loves hanging with her human, sleeping with her human and purring. Cinnamon is like a dog-cat: she's intelligent, food-motivated, and loves to play games with you. She especially loves the soccer ball and the wand toy. She's very physically active and thrives with a feline companion. Neika is the mature & maternal yin to Cinny's yang (in fact, she might actually be Cinnamon's mama!). Neika is independent - she's not needy at all. That said, she is affectionate and enjoys receiving pets. One of Neika's favorite activities is gazing dreamily out the window, but she also enjoys playing with toys. Neika will come to greet you and when she wants attention she'll lay down at your feet. She likes a nice soft bed or even a simple bag - an enclosed space where she can ""nest."" When Neika is stressed she has a tendency to overgroom, so she's currently on a small daily dose of Prozac (very easy to administer, and inexpensive). She may be able to wean off of it once she's settled in a stable forever home. Cinnamon & Neika are FIV+. FIV is a common virus that can affect a cat's immune system. Cats may never show symptoms, and can live a long and normal life span with lots of good care & love. FIV is transmitted through bites that draw blood, so there is a low risk of transmission, however we recommend that Cinnamon & Neika not be commingled with other kitties unless they too are FIV+. While Cinnamon & Neika are FIV+, they are currently asymptomatic and their medical records and appearance indicate that they are healthy! To meet or adopt this easy-to-please little pair, please submit a Q&A for them on our website: https://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt ----- GOOD HOME is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
