Meet Cougar, a beautiful, spayed 8 yr old Chausie. Cougar is sweet and affectionate. She is polite, dainty, gentle and quiet. She loves to be held and loves attention. She is the perfect cat in the right home. Cougar loves playing with all kinds of toys and also loves sleeping on your lap and even in bed with you. Her owner says she has a very cute soft snore. She loves her human very much and enjoys when he is home with her. When visitors come over, she tends to be social and does not run and hide.
Cougar has perfect litterbox habits. She is used to small dogs; we are not sure about big ones. Her perfect home does not have any cats or younger children, an older small dog would be okay. Cougar does not get along with other cats, a home with cats will not be considered.
She recently has had a dental with teeth extracted and other than that, the vet believes she is in great health.
Cougar is the perfect cat, that needs the perfect home where she will be loved and spoiled rotten.
Cougar is spayed, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

We are a 501 (c)3 non profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
