My Story

Delilah is all white except for a black tail and 2 spots on her head. The vet thinks she was born in 2018. She gets along with male cats and is competitive with some girl cats. If there is no competition, she rolls over on her tummy when playing with wand toys and also plays by herself with toys. Delilah enjoys watching wildlife at the window. Delilah is quiet, avoidant of strangers, friendly with her trusted person, and affectionate on her terms. She accepts a little brushing on her back, shies from excessive petting, and doesn’t want to be held at this stage. She has not met dogs or kids under age nine. She enjoys the company of Dotty (born April 2020 ) also available for adoption. Delilah needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter willing to love her, building a relationship with her to help her blossom. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax.
