Meet Elijah, Eli to his friends, one of the kindest, sweetest, gentlemen at the shelter. Eli was born at the shelter 4/17 and adopted 8/17. Unfortunately, one of his little humans developed severe allergies and the family was forced to return him 11/23.
Eli is an old soul, so calm and wise. He looks at you with those gorgeous green eyes and you know you're in the presence of an amazing feline! He wants to be with you and will follow you around, waiting for you to settle down so he can get comfortable on your lap. He would do well in any home where he is loved and pampered. Initially, you will need to go slow, but when he realizes he's safe and trusts you, he's all over you! He's in a room with other cats and doesn't seem to be bothered by his roommates.
Elijah is loved by all of us at the shelter and we all want to see him find a fantastic, loving, forever home.
