My Story

Story time... Behind this ridiculously adorable little face is a baby that FON saved during T&R efforts this past summer. Frank was being bullied by other cats on the street and made it clear that he just wanted a safe home to live in. He was originally thrown out of a moving car and left to fend for himself, which he did not know how to do. He immediately warmed up to his foster mom and crawled into her lap his first night with her. Tragically, we learned Frank gets anxious around dogs: he bit his own tail during his foster stay and had to have it amputated. After Frank's stitches were removed, his new mom took him to what was supposed to be his forever home. To everyone's disappointment, it turned out Frank doesn't like other cats very much either so we are looking for a new home for him where he can be a solo furbaby. Overall, Frank is a very well-behaved and low-maintenance cat. He never scratches furniture, never yells for food, never tries escaping and is very good at responding to the word "no. He LOVES cuddling: as soon as he sees you laying down, he will come join you. Many nights, he will sleep in your bed with you. He also loves string and noisy toys. Considering his background, it's no surprise that Frank doesn't like quick hand or foot movements - he especially doesn't like being overly pet or (of course) touched on his belly. Overall, Frank is a lover who just wants to eat wet food, sleep a lot and cuddle a lot
