My Story

Grizzly Bear is ~3 years old and a big boy! He's only had one home before he came to us, so the shelter setting is very new to him. He came to us due to no fault of his own and would like to live in a quiet and calm place where he can properly decompress. Since he's been in the shelter he's been distributing signs of stress, after a few weeks he has come around a little bit, but still needs some help. He's looking for a cat savvy home where the people would understand the amount of time and space Grizzly Bear needs before he shows his true personality. He can be extremely loving, playful and affectionate. Once he comes around he loves to run around your feet and rub against your legs. He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on parasite preventatives. It is $90 to bring him home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
