My Story

Are you secretly a dog person, but cats work better with your lifestyle? Meet Hardy, who embodies all the best things about cats AND dogs! While he's a stereotypical cat in some ways (he is totally happy to be alone and napping by the window, loves a soft bed, and is often seen rolling around on the floor alone), he also has some dog-like tendencies. For one, he LOVES to cuddle. He will also follow you around the house (especially if he thinks you have food, catnip, or treats to share). He's a total Velcro cat! His hobbies include watching fish tanks (he'll be mesmerized for hours!) and being brushed by his humans. Hey, how else do you expect him to stay so snazzy looking if not for a little pampering? Hardy is an excellent road trip buddy and rides in the car completely silently. Some of the basics about Hardy: he is estimated to be 7 years old, give or take a year, and about 13 lb. As with all Adopt A Pit pets, he is fully vaccinated and neutered. Hardy is FIV positive, but is QUITE healthy! Hardy's foster says, "He's literally the most precious loving creature I've ever met." With a review like that, who wouldn't want to meet Hardy? Apply to adopt him today! His adoption fee is $50 All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
