My Story

Kiwi is a pretty, chonky girl who was found as a stray. She's very friendly and outgoing and has a great purr motor! She'd prefer to be your only cat, though... she likes humans better than other felines. She's estimated to be between 3-5 years old, so past her crazy kittenhood but still a young cat. She's a big girl who could probably stand to lose a pound or two, but some daily playtime with things she chase would probably get her down to her goal weight. She has a beautiful, super-soft solid gray coat (just like a Russian Blue!) and gorgeous big green eyes. Kiwi would be a good "starter cat" for someone who's new to pet ownership. She hasn't been around any kids in her foster home, but probably would do fine with at least school-age kids. (She might not have the patience for toddlers.) She lives in a foster home with dogs but hasn't been exposed to them directly, so I'm not sure how she would do with canine siblings, but most cats can be acclimated to cat-friendly dogs with slow, gradual introductions. This lovely kitty would really do well in just about any home, and after a rough start to life, is looking for a happily ever after! Kiwi is spayed, current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. She is not part of Walter Rescue but is being listed here as a courtesy.
