Leeta is finally ready to find her home!!!!!
Leeta was born into rescue. She was a tiny nugget when she was born (2.4oz). When she was a week old she had to be pulled from the litter and tube fed as she was lethargic and had lost weight. She started nursing again and has been thriving ever since. She is a gorgeous, petite, loving girl that would be a wonderful addition to a family.
Leeta is a sweetheart of a girl. She does love to play, loves toys, and loves playing with other kitties. She does well with other cats and kids and has been around a small dog with no issues. Leeta does need a buddy, whether it be another kitty adopted with her or an already established house cat.
Leeta has faced some issues since birth. She was not growing. She was checked out at the vet. She has had various testing done and there has been nothing to find wrong. She was treated for FIP and finished that treatment. Her complete blood counts have been weird since she was a wee kitten. She has been treated for any underlying infection that may have been there, tested for a liver shunt, tested for infectious diseases, and had an ultrasound on her abdomen - which included all organs since they were doing one anyone. Everything is normal, no liver shunt was found. Her blood counts do continue to be weird, however, there has been absolutely nothing to find.
She eats, plays, uses the litterbox, sleeps and acts like any normal kitten would. All of her litter mates have been adopted, and it is finally Leeta's turn to find her home.
You can meet Leeta at the Whiskerstation Cat Cafe in Kirkwood.
Leeta is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested (neg on both), microchipped, dewormed and flea treated. (hhs14068dw)
