C42606 Luca is a 10 month old kitten who is settling into his surroundings here well. He was so scared at first but he realized how much fun he can have. He likes playtime in our Cat Visiting Room where he chases string toys and plays “Stick under the rug”. He has a generally calm and laid back personality. He will follow you around and rub up against your legs to say hi. He comes over and lays next to you after playtime. He has allowed us to carry him to and from his cage with no problems too. Luca hops up to the window perch and looks outside to watch the birds flying by. Luca would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand when he is not sure about something. He would like to be with someone who will play with him so he can chase toys and get exercise. You can visit this handsome dude during our Animal Viewing Hours below. Luca was distracted by investigating the smells in the room, as you already know. He played stick-under-the-rug with vigor. He also was calm, rubbing up against our legs and allowing us to pet him. Rita had him out with the woman who visited just before closing, and when I looked in the VR, she was sitting on the floor and Luca was lying next to her. I had no trouble carrying him between his cage and the room.
