Poor, sweet Max has experienced so much loss in the recent past. His owner died and he lost his home, prior to coming to MLAR. He was initially very shutdown and would not eat. With proper care and socialization from our clinic, staff and volunteers, he is slowly starting to come out of his shell and respond to affection. He has also been eating a bit, especially when being pet. Max has soulful eyes which show how sad he is, but also show that he has some hope. He knows that his new family is out there somewhere and he is just waiting for them to come find him. Come meet this sweet soul and you may realize that he is the one for you.
