Midnight was one of three kittens rescued during a cold snap in January. She was the most vocal of the bunch, alerting rescuers of their dire situation. She took a long time to warm up to her foster home, but was quick to figure out who was the source of treats and food. She warmed up to her foster mom, the bringer of treats and food, once she realized this!
Midnight loves to play with her siblings and her foster siblings, and enjoys chasing toys, zooming through tunnels, tease string toys, and other toys to match her energy and hunting instincts. She requires someone who will respect her boundaries and give her patience while she warms up to them. She is used to a busy household with teens and a younger child running about, however she prefers not to be handled by younger children. She will usually be found hanging out next to a more relaxed adult or teenager, or more frequently, her cat siblings. She likes to chatter from time to time, as well. She usually does this when she feels comfortable or she has a message for you, like she would appreciate a treat. She's a sweet kitten with a little spice when she chooses.
Midnight will become very affectionate once she knows you are her safe person and her source of affection and food. She's very motivated by treats and food, and quick to figure out her schedule. She will approach you, not the other way around.
Midnight Monumental is around 4-5 months old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She is friendly, affectionate, independent, playful, smart, and chatty.
It is Project MEOW's policy that kittens are either adopted with another cat or kitten, or go to a new family that already has a cat or kitten for companionship.
