Meet Minky
Minky is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive), but don't let that discourage you! FIV is a virus that affects cats' immune systems, similar to HIV in humans. While it's important to manage her health with regular veterinary care, cats with FIV can lead long and fulfilling lives. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, but we don't have to worry about that with Minky! She is very cat friendly and will happily live with other kitty friends, or on her own. She can safely live with other FIV+ cats or with cats who tested negative.
Despite her initial shyness, Minky is incredibly affectionate once she feels comfortable. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she'll shower you with purrs, headbutts, and cuddles. Her favorite spot is her cozy cat hut, where she loves to curl up for naps and enjoy some quiet time. Treats are another one of Minky's passions, and she'll eagerly accept them as tokens of affection.
Minky's ideal home would be a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and secure. Patient and understanding adopters who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust will be rewarded with endless love and companionship. With her gentle nature and loving disposition, Minky is sure to become a beloved member of any family.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet girl, please consider giving Minky the second chance she deserves. Come meet her today and discover the joy of welcoming Minky into your life!
