Meet Muffin: A Survivor Seeking a Loving Home!
Muffin, a resilient grey and tan tabby, arrived at our shelter on September 13, 2023, after a challenging journey as a stray. Despite a rough start, Muffin has made a remarkable recovery and is now ready to embark on a new chapter with a loving family.
About Muffin:
Age: 3 years old (though she has a mature look)
Weight: Approximately 6 pounds
Background: Muffin's initial medical issues required immediate attention, but she has fully recovered and is thriving in our care.
Personality and Compatibility:
Muffin has been housed alone due to her medical history, so her compatibility with other cats is unknown. However, her friendly demeanor and resilient spirit make her a wonderful companion for a loving individual or family.
Adoption Requirements:
Muffin has not been spayed, and certain adoption restrictions apply. To adopt Muffin or any other unaltered animal from our shelter, you must be a resident of Stafford County or neighboring counties, including Caroline, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fredericksburg City, King George, Prince William, and Spotsylvania.
If you reside outside these specified counties, you remain eligible to adopt a pet that has already been spayed or neutered.
Adoption Process:
For detailed insights into our adoption process, please visit: Adoption Process.
Ensure you are prepared to arrange necessary veterinary care for Muffin outside our facility, as we do not have a resident veterinarian.
Verification and Adoption Details:
Present a photo ID with your current address or a current utility bill alongside your photo ID.
Cats must be transported in a carrier; if you don't have one, cardboard pet carriers are available for purchase at $5 each.
