My Story
DOB: 4/15/2023Are you looking for a saccharine sweet kitty with eyes like fireflies? You've come to the right spot - meet Nova! Nova, and her sister Ares, have been living with my roommate and I since July 8th 2023. After surviving outside for the first few months of her life in a dangerous non-residential area, Nova has been having the best time being indoors, lounging underneath our coffee table and leaping through the air to catch her favorite mouse toy before Ares can. At first, Nova was very shy and hesitant around us, but with time, patience and lots of treats, she's become such a love-bug. She's a busy little bee - hobbies include making biscuits while standing on all fours, vibrating like an electric toothbrush when being pet, and demolishing her wet food in under 2 minutes, all the while keeping a keen eye on Ares when she interacts with my resident cat, Polly. Even though she is more shy than Ares, she'll become your best friend if you give her Churu and lots of head rubs. Once you befriend her, she will let you know when she wants attention by meowing! She is the chatty one of the duo, and will not be shy about voicing her opinions. Nova and Ares are also very into small spaces low to the ground - they love sleeping together in the cabinet under my sink, and under my bamboo shower bench. While her and Ares love snuggling together, Nova also enjoys her solo nap time on their soft litter mat.
As you can see, Nova is quite the cat! With her velvet grey fur, bright yellow eyes, and loving demeanor, Nova would be a wonderful addition to any household, with Ares by her side. As much as we love and will miss these two, we know their forever family is out there, waiting to meet them! I know she will worm her way into your heart, just like she did with us. Ares and Nova are bonded and need to go to their new home together.
