Onyx was dumped while she was pregnant, and she gave birth to four kittens April 30, 2022. This friendly girl loves to greet guests in her foster home, and she would enjoy a permanent position on the welcoming committee of her own residence.
During her time in a loving foster home, we discovered a tumor in Onyx’s eye. It’s since been removed, and her remaining eye sparkles with delight when she is accepting pets (Her fur is so silky soft, and head rubs are her favorite.), and she has no trouble at all chasing the elusive red dot. A jagged ear is a reminder of all she has overcome.
She would love to go to a home with one (or two) of her sons, Owen and/or Oliver (Her son Oscar is with HART as well but not quite ready for adoption.), but that is not a requirement.
Onyx is about 3–5 years old, spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and will be up-to-date on vaccinations. Onyx has been with HART for nearly two years and is ready for her forever family.
