Papaya

**Please read the entire description before inquiring about this kitty. Papaya is a beautiful black female with a very plush coat and a locket of white on her chest. Her estimated birth date is 7/1/23. Papaya arrived at Kindred Kitties with her brother Mango and they were both extremely shy and not used to humans. While she has come a long way, she is still a work in progress. She feels safest in a cat house and prefers a small space to call her own. She is skittish when free-roaming and shies away if approached too fast. She gets along very well with the other cats in her foster home. She enjoys watching TV, chasing the ball in the turbo scratcher, and snuggling with her brother Mango. She would love to be adopted with Mango, but she would also do well in a home with other cats or as a single. As she is still learning social skills, she would do best in a home without children. She needs an experienced cat owner and someone who can devote significant time, patience, and TLC to encourage her to trust humans and help her to come out of her shell. Papaya has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. This kitty is in a foster home. Adoption fees for our kittens 9 weeks to 1 year are $150 for one kitten ($240 for two). Adoption fees for adults (over a year) are $100 ($160 for two).
