She is a great companion who will follow you around while waving her expressive long tail. She shows her affection in many ways - rubbing up against your legs, savoring ear scratches and tenderly kneading on your legs while you watch TV. If not napping in a cozy chair, Poppy is keeping a careful eye on the family and goes from room to room watching all of the action. A few times a day, she likes to watch YouTube videos and tag yarn and mice as they cross the screen. Poppy loves to play, chase toys, balls and pounce on toy mice. She has an adorable chirp when she wants attention or is asking a question. The best home for Poppy would be a calm home where her boundaries are respected. She prefers not to be held but loves to be scratched under the chin, behind the ears and down her back and sides. She likes sleeping near you and waits patiently for you to awaken in the morning. She is a gentle loving soul waiting to be a part of a loving family. Poppy would prefer to be an only-animal in her forever home which should be calm and predictable.
