Prancer is a very friendly tabby kitten! She is 9 months old and loves to be held, purring away. Prancer also enjoys eating - since being rescued, she never misses a meal!
It seemed Dasher, Dancer and Prancer were destined for short lives as outdoor cats. At 8 months old, their mom had already had a new litter of kittens, then been killed by a passing car. The helpless, young kittens were quickly able to find rescue, but taking on the care of 3 older kittens, who needed time, patience and understanding was a larger challenge.
Until our Pathway fosters came along that is! Dasher, Dancer and Prancer had already been socialized by their feeder, who also provided them with a wonderful outdoor space to live but he knew they deserved better, and needed to be spayed / neutered before they began to reproduce. Outdoor cats, even within a managed colony, only live an average of 2 years.
We wanted better for Dasher, Dancer and Prancer and rescued all 3 of these feral older kittens who have proven to be amazing companions with just a little TLC!
