PURDITA is the perfect lap cat! She loves to be pet or brushed and get belly rubs while she lays next to you on the sofa while purring her little heart out. She has fur like a rabbit. If you want a cuddly cat, this is the one!
PURDITA is playful and energetic, but starts off slightly shy. It takes her a little while to adjust to new people and situations, which is to be expected with all the changes that she's been through. She loves people, and should adjust quickly to other cats. She is also incredibly pretty! Won’t you let her join your family and have a forever home???
PURDITA enjoys attention and gives lots of kisses and purrs constantly! She is just 15 months old, and is very kittenish and silly.

There will be a lot of demand for PURDITA. She will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!
Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.
All of our cats and kittens are rescued, most locally, or surrendered to us by their previous owners, and they are now eager to join their new families!
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.
We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.
Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
