My Story

Reagan was so friendly and sweet and trusting from day one. She is petite with an orange stripe on her nose and loves wand toys and little furry mice. CHARACTERISTICS: Calm / Chill / Mellow, Gentle, Happy, Goofy / Crazy / Hilarious / Silly, Fun, Alert, Confident, Independent, Outgoing, Good-natured, Friendly, Affectionate, Easy-going, Sweet / Personable, Relaxed, Trusting, Cuddly / Snuggly, Lovable, Loving, Likes Being Scratched, Very Playful If I was on a dating app, my pickup line would be: You had me at hello. In a human companion, I’m looking for: Someone who will pet me, play with me, talk to me, and just hang out with me. In an animal companion (house-mate), I'm looking for: Playful, loving, chill time together. Lots of people say: Sometimes I forego eating to get loved on. Despite my less-than-ideal start in life, I have flourished in FAN's care and am now: A happy, happy indoor cat. Reagan is working in Foster Home-care on her socialization skills to get ready for adoption. Since this kitty will be too shy with strangers, some specially approved applicants may be approved to do a Foster-to-Adopt contract. You won't meet them ahead, but you'll agree to foster them, to allow time for them to get used to you and your home. At the end of the foster period, the adoption will go through, or you may return them to FAN, as any other foster cat. As long as you have spent time with them and followed our best practices, they will come back to us more confident and perhaps ready to meet their forever adopters! All our adoptable cats and kittens are: — spayed / neutered — vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP) — microchipped, if they get lost (and found), they can easily be scanned and reunited with you! — tested for FIV & FeLV diseases — parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention) — provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues — conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? 1. APPLICATION: a. Complete and submit the online form at www.feralaffairs.org/adopt/ b. Schedule a call with our Adoption Coordinator to review your application/questionnaire for approval and answer any questions about the process 2. MEET-N-GREET: Since this kitty will be too shy with strangers, some specially approved applicants may be approved to do a Foster-to-Adopt contract. (see above in this profile for details, or email [email protected]) 3. CONTRACT: If you're approved to take this kitty home, our Adoption Contract and Foster-to-Adopt supplement are completed, signed, fee is paid, and your new furry friend(s) can go home with you! If you & your cat (s) are a good match after your Foster-to-Adopt term, then the adoption proceeds. Feral Affairs Network (FAN) is a 501c3 nonprofit group focused on caring for community cats. 100% of adoption fees and donations go to saving cats and kittens from lives of despair.
