Hello! I am Waffles. I was an outdoor cat for most of my life, and I have FIV. My foster mom thinks I must have been born with it because I am a very sweet kitten and she couldn't imagine me getting into a fight (I just roll right over onto my back whenever her other cat comes by to say hello). I don't let that stop me though! I'm a happy and healthy kitten. In my foster home, I've gotten a lot more brave, but I still need patience. I used to hide all the time, but now I walk around the house and play with the toys and sleep on the chairs and blankets, I will even eat food and treats when my humans are in the room, but I won't come to them yet. I think with time and love, I might learn to trust and love humans more. I won't claw at them when they pick me up, and there have been a few times when I've caught myself purring during petting! I hope you have room in your heart and home for me.
