My Story

Do you love your grandparents, but find yourself wondering what it would be like if they were smaller, furrier, and had a couple more legs? Wonder no more when you meet Wembley -- the incredible cat who has somehow managed to be his own grandpa! Wembley is approximately 35 million years old (ok it's more like 10-13 years), he has dentures (j/k, but the vet DID pull all but one lone chomper), and loves nothing more than sitting still on a pillow for hours on end (that part is true). After spending most of his life on the streets, Wembley is looking for the retirement home he deserves. He loves curling up with a soft blanket and a human who will provide him with all the head rubs and chin scratches he wants. He had pretty severe eye issues when he was on the streets, so he does have some residual crust, but he soldiers through daily eye wipes, purring the whole time. Aside from the eye goop and lack of teeth, Wembley is in great health, spitting in the face of the odds and probably a vet or two. Wembley does get a little grumpy in his old age, so he is looking for a home that will let him take his time to settle in and move at his own speed. He'd do best in an adult-only home because he loves napping in the quiet. He tolerates the other cats and dog in his foster home, as long as they mind their own business. If you have somewhere soft and warm for this sweet grandaddy to live out his golden years, apply to adopt him today! Wembley is tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
