6670 Rio aka Ditch Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Springfield, MO

My name is Rio but some folks call me Ditch because I was found in one. I prefer Rio. It's sounds more manly!! I was found as s stray and no one came for me so I am in the market for a new home. If not for my foster mom who knows what would have happened to me. She says I am a great dog and tells a bit about me below.

I'm pleased to introduce you to the most amazing lab mix, Rio! He came into #4theLoveofK9's organization and in to my home hoping to find his new forever.

He's a male, about one year old, ~50 lbs., housebroken, sleeps throughout the night in a crate, super loving (he's a hugger), athletic with great fetch/catch/release/fetch again capabilities. I'm working with him to not pull as we walk but we've had many ~ mile long walks to keep him active.
Rio is beyond worthy of an amazing forever home. I sense he would do exceptionally well with a family and another pet to keep him satiated throughout the day.
