My Story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13238 Introducing Aladdin, the spirited puppy with a whole new world of adventure in his heart. This little rascal possesses the charm of a street-smart explorer, complete with a wagging tail that's ready to whisk you away on a magic carpet ride of joy. Aladdin's fur gleams like Arabian nights, reflecting the playful energy that makes him the perfect companion for those seeking a furry friend to share exciting escapades and endless cuddles. Get ready to embark on a magical journey with Aladdin, your loyal and lovable canine sidekick! Foster mom thinks I will be about 50lbs when I am an adult. Please keep in mind, this is a guess and could vary depending on my growth spurts. Because Im still a baby, I will require an adopter who is not out of the home for more than 4 hours at one time to continue my training - no exceptions! I will be up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines. I MUST stay out of public places where I could be exposed to the germs of many other dogs for another 2-3 weeks after I go home. The no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs. These requirements are strictly for the puppys medical safety and longevity. This pet is expected to arrive at an Operation Paws for Homes Foster Home soon. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your application so that you may be pre-approved prior to arrival. All pets must be granted a Health Certificate in order to cross state lines and come to the rescue. Obtaining the health certificate is largely dependent on veterinary resources at the originating animal shelter so some pets may not arrive as planned. To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
