My Story

Hi, my name is Alaska! I am a playful affectionate girl who has never met a dog I don't like. I get very excited to meet new people but once you get to know me I become much more laid back. I am about 50lbs but I see myself as more of a lap dog and after a busy day I like to snuggle up on my person with a bone or chew toy. Some of my favorite activities are playing with other dogs, going on car rides and splashing around in the water. I am deaf and use a vibrating collar to get my attention as needed. Although I love small children and cats I can play a little too rough and would fit best in a home without them. Alaska is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.
