Amazing Amalie

She is loved by everyone who meets her. She has met so many dogs, and has truly been perfect with them all. She is one of the dogs the staff at the shelter she was turned in to,, looked to to test other dogs because of her completely stable temperament. Other dogs like her, and she likes them! Amalie adores people. She is happiest when she is being told what a good girls she is. She's always ready for a walk, and walks right beside you, as shown in the video posted. She will match your pace, and stick right with you. She has the softest coat ever, which makes you want to rub and pet her even more - and she's a-ok with that! Amalie was a stray picked up by an ACO who was not reclaimed. We can't imagine nobody coming to get this girl. We've also learned she is whip smart, and all it took to get her sitting and lying down on command within 30 minutes was some yummy treats. This girl is truly a GOOD DOG. Sweet, goofy, family type of dog. She can run and play, romping through the yard, but quickly settle dog, listen and focus and learn. She's just a happy girl who is hopeful to find a family who thinks she is as fantastic as she is sure to think they are. Amalie is a big girl - 70 lbs and long legged. We have estimated her age to be about 3 y/o. She is heartworm negative, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. To know her is to love her. Her adoption fee is $250.
