My Story

Meet Annie, a Shepherd mix whose DOB is 11.27.19, She is vaccinated, microchipped and spay. Her adoption fee is $400.00. If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.faerielandrescue.org/resources. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments. This affectionate fun-loving girl is on the search for her new fur-ever home. Annie probably didn't have the best life before finding her way into foster care; She was very thin and had just given birth to 9 gorgeous puppies. She is now learning what it is to live and soak up all the love, affection, food, treats, and belly rubs she can get. She is learning her house manners and doggie companion manners. She has adjusted so well in the short time she's been with her foster family and is only getting better with time. She is house broken and crate trained. Annie would love another dog to play with. She can be an only dog if she gets enough attention and exercise. She loves everyone she has met, big or small, although she still jumps up, so any adopter will have to keep that in mind if they have young children in the house. We do not recommend children under the age of 16 do to the jumping. Obedience training is a must to adopt this dog. Consistency in training will be a good thing for her. Annie loves to run and has a lack of formal training, so a 6' fenced/secure yard is a positive to allow this girl to run and burn off some of her energy. She has met the cats in the foster home and has ignored them as the cats ignore her as well. Annie is going to make the right adopters very happy. Now that her puppies are old enough to find their fur-ever homes. Might it be you who is the right home for Annie? As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We would like this dog to be adopted into a secure 5'-6' fenced yard. We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
