My Story

Hi, All! I'm Arris. I'm a young pyr boy looking for my perfect home. Would you believe my name means "best"? Well, my GPRA friends say that I live up to my name! One of my most awesome qualities is that I am the best cuddler. Foster Mama says that I'm "sweet, sweet, sweet!" That's three times the sweet which makes me the sweetest. Affection is my middle name because I'm one of those velcro pyrs who wants to be wherever you are. Get ready for my cuteness levels to go sky-high...I love my humans so much that I always want something that smells like them nearby. That's how much I'll love you too! I do understand that my cherished family does sometimes have to leave the house, and I am cool with that because I know they'll return. And, don't worry, I'll be just as adorable when you get back, ready to give you lots of pyr paw to say, "Did you miss me? I missed you!" In fact, I'm a good boy when left home alone without being crated. That's a good thing for me because the crate makes me very nervous! Like most pyrs, I want to be able to walk around the house and guard it for my beloved humans. Another way I'm the best is that I'm great with other dogs and people. I've been friendly to all the doggies and humans that we've met on our neighborhood strolls. To me, playing with my canine companions in the backyard is one of the best activities in all the world. In the yard, however, please make sure there are no holes in the fencings because I like to squeeze through even the smallest fence hole. I would be more than amenable to going to a home with a doggy sibling. With my dog friends, I'm the submissive one, so I get along with pretty much everybody. You can call me Amiable Arris! When we're on leash or in the backyard, the only creatures that get me amped up are deer; I want to chase them. Foster Mom tells me I'm really good on the leash, though, so I can be redirected when I see deer. Could it get any best-er? It could! I'm also a wonderful car rider. Consider adopting me today, and I'll jump right in! Visit https://greatpyratlanta.com/ for more info.
