My Story
Meet August, the one-year-old chocolate mixed breed who's bringing new meaning to the word "derpy." Weighing in at 42 lbs of pure personality, August has a face that could launch a thousand memes, and we're here for it. From the moment you meet him, his waggy demeanor and eagerness for attention are downright infectious. He's a social butterfly in the kennel and an absolute goofball when it comes to navigating corners!
Once you get this boy leashed up (an easy task, he's all cooperation and happy wags), he's ready to explore the great outdoors, where every employee and passerby is a friend he hasn't met yet. His introduction to other dogs? Picture happy, floofy tail wags that scream, "Let's be friends!" Although he's on a temporary play pause until his leg heals, you can bet your last treat he's dreaming of romping around with canine pals.
But let's talk about August's true love: toys. If it squeaks, it's his best friend. He parades around with his squeaker toys like they're trophies, but don't worry, he's all about sharing his loot with you. No resource guarding here, just pure, unadulterated joy. And treats? Say no more. August is not only treat-motivated but an expert at catching them mid-air—a skill that's sure to impress.
August is a "goodest boy" through and through. He takes care of his business outside, is a fan of pets and attention (though, let's be honest, squeaker toys take the top spot), and has a face that will make you laugh on your toughest day. His derpy expression is the cherry on top of an already delightful package.
If you're looking for a pup that brings laughter, love, and a bit of goofiness to your home, August is your guy. He's ready to fill your life with happy tail wags, playful antics, and, of course, endless squeaker toy concerts. Come meet him, and let the fun begin!
