We believe Babbette to be an American Staffordshire mix. Her estimated DOB is 11/1/2023, and she weighs 22 pounds as of 2/27/2024. Hi! My name is Babbette and I'm a very playful and happy girl! I love to snuggle almost as much as I love to play. I'm also super smart for a youngster. I have already has learned sit (almost consistently with one command) and working on learning so much more. I'm doing great with house-training and have not had an accident since coming to live in my foster home. My adoptive family should be prepared to take me out on a consistent schedule so that I will have continued success with my training. I'm also doing great with crate-training and sleep in the crate through the night with no issues. I love playing with my foster fur-siblings so another nice, playful dog would be great in my new home, but it is not necessary as long as my two-legged family members will play with me. I ride well in a car and love exploring new places. The leash is ok and I am learning to be a good leash walker. If you would like to have a small bundle of love, please consider me. I know that I am young and have much to learn, but if you have the time and effort to put into training me to be the best dog that I can be, I promise that I will give you many years of happiness, unconditional love and true devotion. Babbette is still a young pup and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. She will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce her to a variety of safe activities and experiences so she can be comfortable in the world. PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time. Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
