Notorious for her energy, intensity, smarts and fun personality, Baby is a handful, but the fun kind of handful for the right partner. She loves to be busy and to do things. Her natural intelligence and motivation will keep you on your toes. She has all the drive and talents to do search and rescue work, but not the elbows. She has some joint irregularities that showed up in her medical screening, and because of the high impact of the work we train for, she can’t continue in that vein. If you are looking for an amazing partner to do another kind of work or a sport that is low impact, you could do a lot worse than this WILD THANG!
Baby came from a shelter in Utah where she had been surrendered by her family when their life situation changed and they could not keep her. Our eyes-on-the-ground in the area noticed her toy drive and temperament and picked her up right away. We are still mourning the fact that we can’t make a disaster search dog out of her because she is so perfect in so many ways.
She has a sweet and trusting side to her, but that sometimes gets overshadowed by her bouncy buoyant busy nature. She is a confident girl and with some guidance and consistency has the potential to build a strong relationship and strong foundation with the right partner. Loves walks, loves exploring the environment, loves a scratch (when ready for it), loves to be busy.
