Meet BANJO
BANJO came to us form the local shelter. He was so dirty and matted, he looked like a brown terrier. BANJO has the most unusual eyes. One blue eye and one gold eye.
HEALTH: We had Banjo tested for Tick Fever. It came back "faint positive." Veterinarian suggested that we send the sample to the lab. It is a good chance that it will come back negative, but, we should know by mid week (4/10/24). At this time, we are not accepting applications for Banjo, unless you are OK with a possibly "special needs" dog.
Although the shelter had him listed as a Maltese, our groomer told us that he looks like he has some Westie in him, too. He weighs about 12 lbs, loves to eat, loves squeekie balls.
PERSONALITY: BANJO thinks the world is his playground and everyone loves him. We are doing our best to train him, but he gets board quickly. As for potty training, he is good unless he forgets or he is too busy playing to do that. Banjo has quite a vocabulary. He uses different sounds to portray what he wants you to do. I think he is trying to teach me "doggie language".

RORESCUE NOTES: We think that BANJO would excell at being an "only dog" with playdates with neighbor dogs. Banjo is at the "ALL ABOUT ME" stage of life He aims to please, if he gets your full attention. We are asking that BANJO be taken to training classes because he will be their star pupil.

~We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations.
~RoRescue adopts their dogs as INDOOR pets, with sufficient supervised outdoor exercise time.
~RoRescue requires a secure yard and safe environment for this dog.
ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on shots. Full blood panel/Valley Fever/Tick Fever/Heartworm testing is NOT customarily done, unless veterinary suggested
POTTY HABITS: We NEVER guarantee perfect potty habits. Age or breed has no bearing on potty training habits. Most rescue dogs are NOT potty trained due to negligence of the former owner. RoRescue tries to solve this problem, but the adopter will need to continue this type of training. Do you agree to be patient and kind, following the advice of experts for the best way to potty train a dog?
