My Story

Meet Barbie Streisand! Barbie Streisand is a young, female standard poodle + Anatolian shepherd mix puppy! The litter of B puppies are just 6 weeks old (as of 2/3/24) and weigh about 6 pounds each. The B puppies came to us from our southern rescue partner who obtained them from backyard breeders who had no desire to keep this sweet pregnant momma dog. Momma dog was not treated kindly, but she has THE SWEETEST demeanor and doesn't seem to hold a grudge against humans what so ever. Thankfully, momma was able to give birth to her very large litter in a safe place, until we could get them transported to our rescue here to Cincinnati, OH. Barbie is the young black pup with splash of white on her chin in the photo above. Momma dog is the large black standard poodle in the photo. All of the B pups are sweet and curious babies and are looking for their forever homes. We are currently screening applications for this litter and they will be available for adopters to take home as soon as 2/17/24. $275 Adoption Fee All puppies are dewormed, started on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped. All puppies will be adopted with current, age appropriate vaccines, given by Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue will provide their puppy series DAPP vaccines, given at 6, 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age. Only the 16 week shots are remaining. Puppy adopters will be will be required to bring the puppy back to Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue to receive any remaining puppy vaccines after adoption. Puppy adopters will also be required to bring the puppy to our vet for their spay/neuter surgery after they receive their 16 week vaccination from us. The spay/neuter and puppy vaccines are included with the puppy adoption fee. We have a strict one hour puppy adoption radius, puppy adopters must be within one hour of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info, here: https://peppermintpiganimalrescue.org/adoption-radius/ Along with other criteria evaluated in the adoption application, a Fenced Yard is required to adopt.
