He has no problem with other dogs or humans. He loves short walks and car rides. Although he is not a fan of his kennel, he sleeps in it at night and for short periods of time during the day if his foster parents are not home. Baxter would do best with an owner who is not gone for long periods of time as he is all about his people and gets very anxious if left alone for too long. Baxter is around 26 pounds and around 6 years old. He is working on potty training and does well if let outside frequently. He does wear a cloth doggy diaper overnight as most of the time he wets in his kennel during the night. Baxter loves playing with his toys and very rarely barks. He is a couch-cuddler, TV buddy and loves to nap in the mornings when the sun is shining through the kitchen windows. Baxter will require prescription eye drops 2 times a day for the rest of his life for chronic dry eye. The veterinarian has also recommended that Baxter have yearly dental exams. He had a dental and corrective surgery on stenotic nares in November of this year. Baxter's adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, heartworm test and preventatives. He has also had a dental and a nares surgery to improve his overall breathing.
