Baxter Chihuahua & Jack Russell Terrier Mix Nashville, TN

Hi everyone! My name is Baxter and my mommy is having to leave me. My mommy adopted me from Music City Animal Rescue two years ago and we have had the most wonderful life together. I run and play with my friends. I have been on boat rides. I've snuggled and been loved since I became part of her family but now things have gone very badly and my mommy can't keep me. She loves me but says there is another family out there that will love me as much as she does.

I like to play with other dogs, I'm housebroken, I don't LOVE cats but I can live with them and sometimes tiny children make me nervous and I get really scared and unhappy. Now, if you give me a little time, I'll warm up and can be very sweet with older children and new people in my life but it's just been me and mommy for 2 years, so everything is going to be an adjustment for me!

I'm not a puppy, I'll be 7 years old in August, but I have LOTS of energy when it comes to playing and going for walks and exploring, but hey, a nice nap in the afternoon doesn't hurt either. I'm quite a snuggle bug!! I'm neutered. I'm up to date on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventatives.
