Bayou was skin and bones when she was dumped at a shelter in Louisiana in July 2023. She was so emaciated that the shelter staff didn't even realize she was heavily pregnant! On August 18th, she gave birth to 12 beautiful puppies.
Bayou is now 4.5 years old and 60 lbs. She is super friendly with other dogs and loves children. Her puppies have all been adopted, and now it's her turn to find her forever home!
Fostered in Brooklyn. Available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing to travel to NYC to meet and adopt her.
