Meet Bear #42, the token male out of the liter. He is a 1 year old black male labrador mix who weighs in at approximately 50 lbs. He along with his siblings Ruby #23 and Brownie #18, were found by the side of the road, scared, hungry and tired. He is not going to be a big boy, but what he lacks in size he has in personality. He is very playful, loves everybody large or small. Bear currently lives with two of her siblings, Ruby and Brownie. They are right full of life and they want to please. Bear loves the ball. Give him a tennis ball and he is in her glory and you will become his best friend. His story is very compelling in that he and his siblings (Brownie & Ruby) were abandoned and found on the side of a country road all alone. They were hungry, thirsty, tired and relieved to be in someone's care. Bear is ready for the good life where he can prosper. Please open up your heart and home to give this boy a chance at a better life and a home that he can call her own.

ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.
Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
