Bella

They call me Bella (short for Isabel) - which is a pretty common name, but I am not a common dog. I have overcome some pretty surmountable odds in my 3-4 years, and I'm here to show the world that we can all do hard things and be better for it. I am a lover of people, car rides, long walks, tennis balls, squeaky and tug toys. My dream is to have a fenced yard to play in and a family to call my own. The people at Agape don't know anything about me before I was left in their parking lot tied to a car, but they believe I lived a sheltered, isolated life. I don't have many "dog skills", so would likely be best as the only dog in the home. I haven't been around children much, so older kids, if any, would be best for me. I was fostered with cats for a time and didn't seem to care. What I do care about are my toys! I LOVE toys, to the point that I take them all into my crate and sleep with them so we are all safe.   I am house-trained, and crate-trained (I like my alone time too), I'm social with my humans and I really do love to play. I've even been spayed and am up-to-date with my vaccines and am happy and healthy.  The hard things...well, those are behind me now, but if you have hard things, let's take a chance and work through it together!
