My Story

Berlin from the European Capitals Litter lives to cuddle, loves to play, and loves attention from all humans! He's looking for a home! He was born on August 16th and is a Heinz 57 (Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, Coonhound, Pitbull?). Before considering adding Berlin to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory adoption process in place which includes a background check and a home visit. More information on our adoption process can be found in our pinned post, please read that (and this adoption post) in their entirety - our process cannot be waived. We do not ship our animals and we do not allow for third-party transportation. Berlin loves to play with his sibling and foster mate, Rome. He loves to haggle the big dogs, but is also learning a lot from them. Berlin is somewhat potty-trained, and does not pee or poop in the kennel. He lets his fosters know that he has to potty every night around 2-4am. He's currently fostered with a toddler, and is learning boundaries and doing well. Leash-training is going okay! He loves to play in the snow until his little paws get too cold. As a pup, his new family should expect LOTS of training and patience while he learns potty-training, socialization, kennel-training, manners, and other life skills. Our adoption process is outlined on our website: www.kpalrescue.org/pet-adoption/, our Adoption Application can also be found on that website. Please direct questions regarding adoption to [email protected]. Puppies of the European Capitals Litter will be foster-to-adopt until they are spayed/neutered (once complete, the Adoption Contract will be finalized). KPAL Rescue puppies are vetted (age-appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, etc.) and are required to be spayed/neutered at around 14 weeks of age (a Foster-to-Adopt Contract will need to be signed at the event and the surgery date will be scheduled at that time). There will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. As always, donations are also very appreciated.
