My Story

Blue is such a lovely lady! She is estimated to be about 7 years old and weighs 69 pounds. Blue and her brother Felon found themselves back at the rescue after being adopted from us as puppies, due to family medical issues. They are quite confused as to why they are here and are hoping to find a forever family very soon. Blue is gentle and well-mannered, but a little shy. She wants nothing more than to be with you, such a connecting sweetie and she likes to “check in” with you. She just loves her walks too! Blue would prefer a quieter, more predictable type home where any children are at least 13 years old, due to her shy nature. Blue and Felon do not have to be adopted together, but Blue will need to go to a home with another dog-friendly dog. She perks up as soon as another dog enters the room with a wide loose wag. Blue was very dependent on Felon for confidence and is really looking for that companionship again. If you are interested in Blue and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*
