IF the dog weighs 40 pounds or more OR has been in the shelter 30 days of more, the fee is waived. Bluebell is in 'Paws To Adopt' status. She will be spayed when a family picks her to adopt.

Bluebell is a 7 month old, 24 pound Australian Cattle Dog PUP. She's 'on and off' on a leash. Sometimes you have to carry her. It's a shyness issue and she is figuring out that the volunteers who are helping her are a good thing! Bluebell will figure it out. She loves dogs and really does love people!

Any pet who has been at the shelter more than 30 days (check INTAKE DATE on card) OR weighs 40 pounds or more has a waived adoption fee. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday.
The dog/cat adoption fee, which is normally $60 unless we are having a special, includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check.
